This Privacy Policy explains how [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit our website or subscribe to Front Porch Money, our free email newsletter. We wrote it in plain English. Questions? Write to us at [email protected].
✓ We collect your email address and the few details you choose to give us.
✓ We use them to send Front Porch Money and to show stories and offers that fit you.
✓ We share your email with a partner only when you choose that partner's offer. Some state laws call that a "sale," and you can opt out.
✓ Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we honor it.
✓ We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Depending on where you live, including California and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:
Know what personal information we have about you, and get a copy.
Correct information that's wrong.
Delete information we have about you.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising.
Be treated the same for using your rights. We won't charge you more or give you worse service for using them.
How to ask. Email [email protected], or write to [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [MAILING ADDRESS]. Tell us your state and what you'd like us to do. We'll confirm the request through the email address you subscribed with. An authorized agent may ask for you with your written permission. We'll respond within the time the law requires.
Appeals. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer or emailing [email protected] with the subject "Privacy appeal." If you're not satisfied with how we handle your appeal, you can contact your state attorney general.
California notice. We collect these categories of personal information: identifiers (such as email address, name, IP address, and phone number if you give it); characteristics such as age range; commercial information (such as offers you chose); internet activity (such as opens, clicks and pages viewed); approximate location; and inferences about your interests. We collect them from you, your devices, and the partners and services that send you to us, for the purposes in section 2. We may disclose identifiers and commercial information to partners you choose, which may be a "sale," and identifiers and internet activity to advertising and analytics providers, which may be "sharing." We disclose each category to service providers for business purposes.
California "Shine the Light." California residents may ask, once a year, about personal information we shared with third parties for their own direct marketing in the prior year. Email [email protected].
Nevada. Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of covered information by emailing [email protected].
We keep your information while you're subscribed and for a reasonable time after, unless the law requires longer. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a do-not-email list so we don't email you again. We also keep records of your consents as proof of what you agreed to.
We use reasonable safeguards, and we choose service providers that do the same. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security.
Front Porch Money is for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email [email protected] and we'll delete it.
If we offer text alerts, you'll sign up separately, on a screen of their own, with a box that stays unchecked until you check it. We'll use your number only to send the alerts you asked for. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help. Consent isn't a condition of any purchase.
